Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's organization that enriches the lives of members
through lifetime opportunities including friendship, leadership, learning, and service. There are 131 chapters, from coast
to coast, with nearly 12,000 collegiate members giving back to their community, developing life-long learning habits, and
making friends that will last a lifetime.
The Kappa Mu Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was founded on April 22, 2006
and has since been an active part of the Greek System at The University of Texas at Tyler. Kappa Mu follows the
five membership criteria of Alpha Chi Omega, which include, academic interest, financial responsibility, leadership ability,
personal development, and character.
