2011 EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

Our 11 officers make up the executive board. They are responsible for working as a team to make everything in our sorority work smoothly. Each executive board member also has a committe to assist them.

President
Ashlea Smyers

As President of our chapter, she is responsible for the chapter activities and members, as well as managing the executive officers. She helps in the planning and implementation of each officers' programming. She also continually links our Alpha Chi chapter with the National Headquarters. Contact Ashlea at ashleasmyers@yahoo.com

Vice President Chapter Relations and Standards
Sky Soto

As VP CRS, she is responsible for both promoting membership standards and the behavior of the chapter. This is accomplished through education, a positive points system, disciplinary action, and recognition of members' positive contributions to the chapter, campus, and community.

Vice President Fraternity Relations

Madison Moyer

As VP Fraternity Relations, she is responsible for the chapter's fraternal education, philanthropy projects, and fundraising. She and her committee plan and host the chapter's annual Mr. Alpha Chi pageant as well as an annual candlelight vigil to raise awarness and donations for our national philanthropy.



Vice President Finance
Haley Wilkie

As Vice President Finance, she is resonsible for the collection of member dues, the composition of executive officer budgets, and the payment of any bills. She works closely with the advisor and President to ensure that our sisters maintain financial responsibility.

Vice President Public Relations & Marketing
Chelsea Kinser

As Vice President Communication, she is responsible for the communication within the chapter and between the chapter and our National Headquarters. She keeps the chapter members up-to-date with all events being planned and oversees inner chapter communication.

Vice President Education
Macy Sims

As Vice President Education, she is responsible for welcoming the new members into our chapter and helping them get acquainted with being a new Alpha Chi Omega. She continually works with our newest pledge class. She creates new programs that link new members and old members together.

Vice President Membership Development
Jori Patterson

As Vice President of Membership Development, she is responsible for planning social and sisterhood events for the chapter. She plans a broad range of events in during both the fall and spring semesters, such as sisterhood retreat, mixers with fraternities, date parties, paint-your-date, formal, semi-formal, and senior appreciation.

Vice President Recruitment
Sydni Arnold

As Vice President of Recruitment, she is responsible for pre-recruitment training of our current members and planning for both formal recruitment in fall and informal recruitment in spring. Vice President Intellectual Development
Ali Cupp

As Vice President of Intellectual Development, she is responsible responsible for keeping the chapter academically focused and motivated. She coordinates and maintains study plans for members, and encourages the academic development of the chapter.

Panhellenic Delegate
Mary Margaret Nelson 

She is the Panhellenic Council Voting Delegate for our chapter. Her duties include acting as the liaison between Alpha Chi Omega and UT Tyler Panhellenic. She also oversees our chapter's involvement in greek-wide activities, such as Greek Week.

Vice President Risk Management

Daci West

As Vice President Risk Management, she is responsible for maintaining and enforcing safety practices for the chapter members. She oversees chapter safety at all Alpha Chi Omega events as well as plans for speakers to educate the sorority about both physical and emotional safety. She takes the chapter's safety very seriously and is also involved in planning and communicating our risk management plans to headquarters.
